On Saturday, April 27th, the 5th Annual Putting for Parkinson’s Golf Tournament will be held at Legend Oaks in Summerville, SC.
Created to honor the legacy of Coach Tim Touchberry ( beloved former athletic director and coach in the Summerville area diagnosed with Parkinson’s 15 years ago) and to support Parkinson’s Disease research at MUSC, this is a day for friendly competition and camaraderie.
Parkinson’s disease affects 1-1.5 million Americans, including an estimated 13,000 South Carolinians. By supporting the Putting for Parkinson’s Golf Tournament, you are honoring the legacy of Coach Touchberry and helping MUSC provide excellent patient care and foster innovative research towards a cure for Parkinson’s.
